Skolkovo

Location: Moscow, 2009

Task: Communications support for President Dmitry Medvedev’s meeting with Skolkovo business school students on the occasion of the school’s third anniversary and the launch of the first international full-time MBA course in Russia.

Action: Mikhailov & Partners developed the contents and positioning of the event and we responsible for relations with Russian media. Our contribution covered all stages of the event and included preparation, invitation of Russian media, interaction with journalists during the event, and follow-up monitoring and media analysis. This project was marked by the first use of a video press release, which M&P distributed to all selected media together with the usual release. Several days before the event, the M&P team organised and held a press briefing on the results of the first three years of the school’s operation.

Results: The event received wide and adequate coverage by Russian and international media (over 137 reports). Mikhailov and Partners’ work was highly appreciated by the Client.
